Quick question.
In a situation were there is a remote location which has a Global Catalog Server and an a separate Exchange Server, both being in the same domain. If for some reason the link between the remote site and the main office failed, would the remote users still be able to access their mailboxes? Will the remote Global Catalog Server authenticate them, without having to talk to the Master Global Catalog Server at the main office?

Yes.

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

So you are saying the users will still be able to authenticate with the remote GC Server, even though there is no communication with the Domain Master Server?

eYs (just reworded my answer to your reworded question).

Can't you make your answers a simpler. All this wordiness is confusing!

On a related note, there is not Master GC, nor is there a Master DC.
