Global Catalog Could not be Located

Usually it's a DNS issue.

Thanks for your response, I believe that you are correct. I have been working with a Tech from MS. On a SBS, should I remove and reinstall the DNS. I have check the dns server settings all looks right.

Is there a setting that I may have missed?

Here is some more info
Active Directory was unable to establish a connection with the global
catalog.

Additional Data
Error value:
1355 The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Internal ID:
3200cd1

User Action:
Make sure a global catalog is available in the forest, and is reachable from
this domain controller. You may use the nltest utility to diagnose this
problem.

My dcdiag shows these two errors in the log:

> Warning: NIMSYS is not advertising as a time server.
> Warning: NIMSYS is not advertising as a global catalog.


With respect to dns, I have done everything the MS technotes have told me to do. I did not delete anything out of the DNS Server. Netdiag shows all dns reference is ok. Is there a particular location that you know off that may help.
