Dear All,
Could you help me to resolve the problem with GL/Process/Post from Sub-Leger? When select date (02/Jul/2k8) cut date is the same from Inventory only, => then select print to file (or printer), we get the message " I/M Distribution File not Available".
we get the trouble after transfer data from Mac 7.6.200/SQL7/ OS: WinNT to Mac 7.6.200/SQL2000/OS: Windows 2000 Server.

Normally means that the file is subject to change and the system can't properly lock the file. Have everyone get out of Macola, and try posting again. If no luck, and everyone is out, then phantom users. Remove them, try again. If no go, then go the reboot server root, and try again.

Sidenote:
There are setting that relate to posting while transactions are being perfomed. Best discussed with an expert. Reseller, or Exact.

From Old Server, we can posting while transactions are being performed. But when We move data base to new server, we cannot.
Nowaday, our license out of date, so we cannot contact with Reseller.
Could you help me to contact with the expert on this forum? Thank you!

The above is not a true statement. Your reseller may *choose* not to help you, but there is no rule not to do so that is handed down by Exact.

Did you do everything that NEMacGuy said to do?

Thanks dgillz! Follow NEMacGuy, When no others user logon to Macola, It's OK. But with this way, It's not a good solution with us.
Could you help me to correct it? Thank you very much!

With Our licence, maybe I write wrong ways. We had stop payment for support of Our Software Progressive!

Note: Last time, we run 7.6.200/MS SQL 7/ OS WINNT4 Sp6a, When I moved to new server Win2k Server Std/ SQL 2000 SP4, I only moved Database and created all users; I has check with configuration of SM/IM/GL were same with Old server.

Please check company setup and tell us what checkboxes are checked on page 1 only, not the individual modules.

You can end support and still pay maintenance. It is important to understand the difference. Even then, you can pay for per incident support just to resolve a specific issue.

Uncheck the Trx Control post box. Exact recommends that you not use this. You can read the help on this topic by highlighting the checkbox and clicking on help->about this field.

I has do as your but still not resolve the problem.
In the past, we non check the Trx Control Post then we get the trouble, then the support from Macola Distribute said us need to enable it ==> resolve the problem.

This is a perfect reason why you pay your annual maintenance invoices. My advice is to pay up and call Exact.
