GL Distribution Problems

Our Macola GL distribution reports do not reconcile to the payroll register for the last 3 months. Some voided checks were not voided in GL when voided in payroll, some deduction on child support disappeared in GL distribution, etc. And some checks just disappered from GL Distribution for no apparent reasons.Do anyone else experience similar problems? Could this be related to any recent Mocola updates? How did you deal with this?

Also, which table stores GL account code with description?

What version of Macola? When you say they "do not reconcile" what numbers are you comparing? Please elaborate.

On MSSQL the table that stores GL account numbers with corresponding descriptions is SYACTFIL_SQL

We use Progeression 7.6.300c-32 bit. We ran some Macola utility after first discovering the problem, but we still have problem and the new payroll deduction report looked quite different than from before.

We compared the P/R DISTRIBUTION TO G/L REPORT to EARNINGS HISTORY REPORT, 1 voided check showed on PR/Distribution report at one payroll but not the earning history (which is correct). In another payroll run, the GL distriubtion report was right, but our deduction register was missing 2 checks. There were no error message before, during and after the payroll run.
