Hi !
I'm looking for information about possibility direct connecting 120 OHM cable (without any balun) to GJUG4 card on BC9 system.

No problems.

For GJUL4/1 120 ohm twisted pair cable located like:

Tx = C26, C28
Rx = c30, c32

(the lowest quarter connector, pins on the right side).

Front connector GJUL4/2, 120 ohm twisted pair cable

Tx = C26, C28
Rx = c30, c32 for GSM/A

Tx = C10, C12
Rx = c14, c16 for GSM/B

Hi !
I'm looking for information not about GJUL4 but GJUG4 (Group Switch side). 120 Ohm cable works perfect with GJUL4 on LIM side, but I've still problems with Group Switch side (GJUG4).

Sorry mate,

I need to clean up my glasses :)))
Don't have info with me at home. Will come back about this tomorrow.

ZMarek,

Well, legally you need to use 75 Ohm cables:

TSR 901 0238 for connection GJUG4 --> CCU
TSR 225 1303 for direct connection GJUG4 --> GJUL4.

BUT! Being on field without necessary cables, I did connection GJUG4 --> GJUL4 with twisted pair cable.
This is not recommended solution because of signal loss, but inside one room was OK.

Check your Tx - Rx chains with LCD.

Regards

Thanks for Your advice. Now I know that GJUG4 does not support 120 ohm cables.

Hallo,

buy a new groupswitch GBP10(Ericsson will be glad...)and you will have GJUG5. GJUG5 have both possibilities: 120 and 75 Ohm...
