gift card interface error, aloha

Hi, we just upgraded the pos server from windows xp to windows 7 32 bit,
everything works. only the gift card interface

the gift card interface start as normal, inventory, etc all good.

However, the gift card redemption not working. It throw an err msg " unexpected error, quitting"

What happened? thanks

is it Aloha Ecard or 3rd party gift cards.

For enterprise just give them a call and they will fix it for you. 1-800-792-5642
for 3rd party gift cards it goes through EDC, so check your edc.ini file for missing info

thanks for the reply. I am not sure is 3rd party or ecard. the processing of our gift card is not through aloha network. We are not paying any fee to anybody right now. we used to be able just make some card and adding to our system ourselves
so I am guessing it is aloha gift card. not ecard for sure, but some kind of old version of aloha gift card?

did you reinstall the backoffice software or did you only copy the folders from the old server to the new?

The Backoffice Gift Card program will have to be installed.
