how do i turn my swf into gie for a banner?

Under File->Export Movie->Animated .gif

when i go that it's not a anamation anymore, it makes only 1 file

It normally only makes 1 file and if I am not mistaken ...animated gifs only work online. You can open them in Fireworks and it will break it out into frames so you can edit them individually.

After finishing your movie you can go File>Publish Settings
Then put a Tick mark on Gif Image (.gif)
Then Click on GIF at the top place TAB
Then u click on Animated Radio button
Then click Publish and OK Buttons
