I am having a very strange issue with my IBM 600E Thinkpad/laptop running Win2000Professional.

The symptons: run away mouse functionality. It appears that it is possessed.

Total phyical memory: 163,184 KB
Available Physical memory: 28,004 KB
Total Virtual Memory: 553,876 KB
Available Virtual Memory: 284,472 KB

It appears to be a conflict somewhere - I am just not able to find it. If someone has any suggests please let me know.

It does not disappear when I reboot the computer. Tried several times. It appears to disappear when I use an external mouse. It appears to be a driver issue. I remember that I upgraded to SP 4.

I am able to work now I just want to know what/why this happened.

May be there is a problem in the board itself ,,,
static shock or something !

I think it's a hardware issue .. you have to contact the supplier for this Notebook
