OK, got a tough one...
I have 2 hard drives, 13 and 40 gigs. 13 giger is on Primary Master. 40 giger is on an external ata-66 controler.

From clean install of W2K, only the 13 gig drive is viewable because the ata-66 controller's drivers are not installed. Before the install of the controllers drivers, only the 13 giger is visable in Disk Manager.

After I load the drivers for the controller, I can see the 40 gig drive just fine, but Disk Manager also gives me another drive that is the same size as the 13 gig, but marks is as Missing, and says it is Failed(System), and offline.

I have tried to Reactivate the Disk, but it says the Specified Disk Cannot Be Found. I have tried to Delete the dynamic Volume that it says is there, but it tells me I cannot delete the system volume on the disk.
I have no other options on this disk.

I have done a Clean Install twice now, and this is getting very annoying.
Any thoughts on a solution to getting rid of this "ghost drive" would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much!
Anonymous God
anongod@hotmail.com

"Drawing on my fine command of language, I said nothing."
