I have a IP Office customer who has been having issues with ghost calls. They have 4 analog lines and digital phones. Occasionally they will receive a call and when they pickup no one is on the other end. Seconds later the person calls back and users are able to hear them. This doesn't happen with every call, just every now and then. We've also confirmed that it occurs on every extension connected to the IP Office. They only have 4 extensions. Anyone ever ran into this issue?

Hi, what do you have on your ICR table? is there anything pointing to the default main hunt group (200)?

Sounds like a carrier issue, I bet it is happening on the same trunk each time this happens.

Yes, nothing fancy. All calls go to the main hunt group (200) and every ext is in the hunt group.

I was leaning towards carrier issue as well. If it's just one of the trunks that would make sense as to why it only happens occasionally. Also, this system has been installed for years with no issues.

Just because it has been installed for years does not rule out a carrier issue, I would have the trunks tested to be sure

Yeah, because the system has been running fine for a few years and now all of the sudden has this issue makes me think it's a carrier issue. The customer is going to have them come out and test the lines. Thanks for everyone's help!
