getURL question

I am having a problem getting the button click getURL function to work as needed. This may be a quick, so I don't think I need send a fla of what I have.

Basically, all I need to do is click 'Signup Now' at any time and it will fire off the signup page. It's not, did I miss anything?

First, I'd uncheck the Selectable tab (Ab) on the button's textfield, and would probably still need to see your .fla!

Somehow a semi colon snuck its way into your code.

This should work

on (release) {
getURL("

http://www.piczo.com/go/signup?cat=pz");

}

should be

}

signup?cat=pz";

will not work

I don't know why but when I post the correct code a semi colon is inserted.

it should be
cat=pz"

i think the forum script is adding a semicolon because its an url ...

to fix, uncheck 'Process TGML'

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.

You have a ";" in your getURL. Try something like this:

getURL("

http://www.reboot2.com",

"_blank", "GET"

Notice the commas.
