hi all

i am reasonably proficient with vba but visio has got me beat!

how on earth do you get an attribute of a shape?

I have only just started playing and i made a button to pop up a message box to tell me the info i can work out from the object browser (stuff like shape area and shape perimiter of all things!) and can do things like rotate shapes with a click of a button, but cannot find out some things i would have thought would be more useful like width, height, colour current rotation angle etc.

any suggestions??

ps anyone know of a site that specialises in visio vba?

never mind - solved it myself.

MsgBox ActiveDocument.Pages.Item(1).Shapes(1).Cells("height")

took a whhile though!
