Getting values in a combo box to be in ascending order

I would like the values to be in ascending order, but I do not want to do this in a query. Can i do this in VBA?
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Assuming that the combo box is loaded from a table, all you have to do is set an index on the field that you want it sorted by. dz
