Using ACCPAC v5.0 modules Corporate Edition with Pervasive.SQL. I have a unique situation where my users always sell items at the same cost they buy them at. Is there any way to set up Order Entry or Inventory Control so that the unit price always matches the unit cost? I know there are diffent costing methods (we are currently using FIFO), but how can I get the price to change when the cost changes? For instance, if I bought 10 items at $10 and then another 5 at $15, I want the unit price when I enter an order to show as $10 until all of the 10 items at that price are used up, and then change to $15 when we get to those items. Is anyone aware of any way to do this?

Thanks in advance,

The only way I can think of is ...
Create a Price list that is linked to the ICILOC via an Update Trigger on your Pervasive database unfortunately you will have to always run a day end to get the latest costs

Thanks for the response Relloc. So basically you are suggesting putting a trigger on the ICILOC table that will update the base price in the ICPRIC table so that it matches the "RecentCost" or "LastCost" value from the ICILOC table whenever that value changes. Sorry to reiterate, but I am just trying to wrap my head around it. Why would I have to run a day end? Is that because the ICLOC table costs fields only get updated when Day End is run?

Thanks
