Hello,

I have the following on a report:

="Due Date from " & [Forms]![frmSalesSelectorbyDateRange]![BeginningDate] & " to " & [Forms]![frmSalesSelectorbyDateRange]![EndingDate]

However when I print the report it just comes up as "#Name?"
When I view, save, or print to a PDF the parameter comes out correct.

How do I get the parameter to print correctly ?

Hi
Looks ok, presumably you have this as the source in a text box? what is the name of the text box?

Yes it is a source in a text box

The name is Text57
The Control Source is
="Due Date from " & [Forms]![frmSalesSelectorbyDateRange]![BeginningDate] & " to " & [Forms]![frmSalesSelectorbyDateRange]![EndingDate]

Thanks

Hi

First the obvious, the form frmSalesSelectorbyDateRange is open at the point the report runs?

Hello,

No, the form is set to close once you view the report. Which I now see is the problem. But I need the form to close once you view the report. So how would I make it stick when I print the report ?

Thanks for your help

Hi

Suggestion 1. Put a "Print" button on the form, and an "Exit" button, this will allow the user to print the report, while keeping the form open, they can print "n" versins, varing the parametrs as they go, when they are done they click the Exit buton, which closes the form

Suggestion 2. Amend the Query to unclude a calculated column which is the value from the form (eg MyParam:Forms!MyForm!Text5 in the query builder grid), this will then be part of the recordset in the report and can be treated as a bound column MyParam.
