Getting the Recrords from .csv file to Java

I am not able to get the records from .csv file to Java application using jdbc.

i connected to the dsn.

but it is saying java.lang.nullpointer exception

pl help me

if any body have a sample code pl send me

CSV is just plain delimited text, why would you use JDBC?

Is it possible to read the data from .csv file
or to write the data in a csv file through java ?
If it is possible please tell me.
I am facing pblm with this.
