I purchased an OEM SB Live Value and only recieved a Win 2000 CD - I have Win 98. Therefore I had to download the drivers of the Internet. The problem i have is that I just purchased some old games (circa '95) that require the ol' boot up disk with HIMEM, EMM386 and the whole lot. It seems as if i'm missing the dos drivers for the card, like sbeinit.com and so on from a folder like C:\PrgFiles\Creative\DosDrv\*.* where the dos loaders are.

If any one has these or knows how to get them (can't find it anywhere on Creative.com) it would be greatly appreciated. I want to play these nostaligic games but can't get sound.

if I am not mistaken Win2000 does not have a Real Mode DOS, never the less, if you install Live!Ware and it find a DOS Emulation drivers, check those out in system properties, and it'll tell you the IRQ, Port, etc to use when configuring your dos games (or it can automatically set the Blaster parameter)

But since Win2k doesnt have a DOS (other than a emulated console) I Am not completely sure dos drivers are supported under windows 2000.

Thanks everyone, but I already found a link which contained
the whole install directories for the card.

It was a 100 meg download.

I tried the liveware 3.0 and didn't find the directory but
this worked.
