Hi,

I posted this in another forum but then thought it would be more relevant to this board. I apologize if you've seen it elsewhere.

Basically, I created a form that automatically pops up when a new document is created using a fax coversheet template in Word. It works fine, aside from the fact that on each new line in the message, a square character/symbol is inserted at the beginning of the line. Is there any way to get rid of this? It's been quite frustrating as it's really a big inconvenience to go through and delete them all once the form is submitted. I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'm a newbie and couldn't find the answer elsewhere, so any help would be appreciated...

Hi Gerry, thanks for those tips, I will definitely take them into account for any future projects. Looking forward to your changes...

Hi Gerry, it's very flexible. As long as there's enough space for a paragraph or so and it doesn't push the footer information down it would be great...

OK. I am at a different location from the version I was working on, but I will be able to get at it later today. I will probably be able to get a working version to you by tomorrow. Uh, there will most likely be some serious changes to it.

Hi Fumei, any update on this project? I'd really love to find a solution soon. Thanks...

Hi George. I just sent you back a new version of your template. I replaced the formfield you were trying to get your multi-line text into, with a bookmark. The bookmark is in a cell beside the "Message" text. This keeps it separate, and properly lined up.

The bookmark text is filled with a sub that actually replaces the range text, not just insert it. So it can be re-done (via the userform) as many times as you like. It will always REPLACE the bookmark text, not append it.
