hi

i'm having difficulty getting out of safe mode! for some unknown reason, my comp won't boot normally.

i checked msdos.sys and i don't have a bootsafe=1, i don't have wnbootng.sts to delete. i'm thinking of deleting all of my ghost drivers, and i've restored to an earlier successful registry to no avail.

what to do? thanks so much.

sounds crazy but go into display and just apply the display that it shows and then reboot...i know stupid but try it any way......

hi, the first thing i should mention is that the problematic comp is at home and i'm at work, so i'm just taking some suggestions down and will try them later. secondly, how do i go into display and apply the display that it shows? can you be explicit? thanks :)

when it comes up in safe mode just go to control panel and then display and go to the settings tab...hit the apply button and then reboot the sysatem.....
