Hi all,

I'M trying to do something special, trying to get word information in an access table or query. The thing is that I have a lot of word file for each day, like P0124 for today, P0123 for yesterday. I need to get the information on the day I choose, like if I want yesterday, I enter P0123 and it would give me all the info I want in a table so that I can easily reach everything I need to make my statistic into some report. Is there a way to do that?

Would really appreciate your help guys,

Thanks in advance.

Its a list to do thing for our truck drivers, each truck driver's have is own sheet that have the number P#### on it, on the word document, I have the P#### as a header not in a table and right after I have my table that first column contains the city and company, while the other contain the acronym of the company, what i need is the acronym that are linked to a particular P#### depending which day I need data. By the way, thanks for your fast response.

I have no idea what you are saying. You are going to have to describe your tables, and word documents better. It sounds like you are trying to import information from a word document into an Access db, but I am only guessing. If that is the case it seems backward to me. The data should be in the database and then exported to the Word documents. Please provide more details.

Hi MajP,

I got to the same conclusion that you were guessing, it IS in fact backward, so I created a database from scratch, thanks for your help.
