I have 30 XP pro workstations on a domain. I am able to access each machine as long as I am using a domain user accounts with privledges.
I have 3 XP pro workstations that belong to a workgroup, have the same IP address as other workstations and are used by developers. I set the security on these workstations up...
When I try and access 2 of these workstations from my domain pc from the "run" command, I get a logon as prompt(asking for username and password), so if I enter a local user and password, I connect just fine. On the 3rd workstation, if I try and access, the logon as prompt appears, but it already has a defaulted, non-changeable user of \\workstation name\Guest. I disabled the guest account previously, so if i enable it, enter in the password, I still cannot login.
What might be causing this? I tried everything in my toolkit and have been unsucessfull.
Thanks in advance
