I'm getting this error when starting an application.
0509-150 Dependent module /lib/libXt.a(shr4.o) could not be loaded.
0509-152 member shr4.o is not found in archiv.
Tried everywhere but didn't anything.

Do you have X Windows installed on that server? Seems to me the app is looking for an X Windows library...

HTH,

p5wizard

I think you need fileset X11.base.lib or whatever it's called. You need the X libraries.

HTH,

p5wizard

[root]:/ # lslpp -l X11.base.lib
Fileset Level State Description
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Path: /usr/lib/objrepos
X11.base.lib 4.3.3.80 COMMITTED AIXwindows Runtime Libraries

not able to figure out why it is not running

Maybe the application environment is not set correctly! could you check that? Is the X11 directory in the search path?

Regards,
Khalid

Check LIBPATH setting instead of PATH setting
