Questions....
Do you need the Hard drive space?
Do you need the extra memory?
Video Card? Make and model?
What do you use the pc for?

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.

Question 1: I currently have an 80 Gb Hard Drive and space is no issue
Question 2: The 512 Mb is running fine and seems to be enough RAM
Question 3: I think i'll go for a nVidia Geforce, my friend reconomened the nVIDIA Geforce MX4000 128Mb Video Card....
Question 4: The pc gets used for home use and then heaps of other stuff... A bit of everything

I am still amazed that people upgrade a system when you can not find fault the PC. You clearly have too much time / money on your hands!

If you don't need it, and just want something to do, maybe try modding your pc case or something? But if you do up your video card, you might as well at least get the GForceFX series from Nvidia, if that's the route you want to go.. the GforceFX 5200 by MSI is a good card and cheap - has 128mb DDR ram, and comes with a few free games as well as a few other programs for free. Depending upon how much money you want to spend, and whether you would use your computer for games or some sort of cad design would really determine your video card choices. The extra memory would probably show some performance gain - adding an extra 512mb, but only if you run many apps at once, or some that really take up a lot of memory would it be worth it, especially if working fine now.

Here's one upgrade that's cheap, and very useful, if you or anyone you know has a digital camera. I added a multi-card picture card reader to my machine (internal), so that I could upload my pictures to my machine w/o my camera, and so could anyone else that happened to have a digital camera on them. I had an external, but it sometimes would get knocked over or dropped, b/c forgot about it being there...

The TV card is good if you have a desire to ever watch tv on your machine and/or digitally record any television programs for your own purposes, such as saving them there, then make a video CD or DVD of them to watch on your regular tv when you have time. The WinFast products are nice here - I have one, not the top of the line model, and not the bottom of the line, costs around $40-$50 I think, and it works really well.

Though, I agree, sounds like you don't really NEED to upgrade, that would be my suggestions...

One other point, if you want a video card, so long as you go with ATI or Nvidia, you probably won't tell much difference, it just may be benificial to stick with whatever is the most current or next to most current cards..

I don't have a USB one. I would suggest a PCI slot one, just b/c of not having to have something extra outside the case (if you have a pci slot available). I belive mine is called the Winfast 2000TVM or something like that. I would get whatever is the most current for pci slots, b/c they have one slightly newer...
anyway, here is the link for the one I have (pretty sure it's the exact same one), but I think, not sure, that there is a slightly newer one, but may not be much difference.. is $45..

It is the LEADTEK TV TUNNER CARD TV-2000XP EXPERT (10BIT)

This may even be the slightly newer one, but I didn't notice any difference upon first glance..
