I need to write an application that can be used to read the contents of different users Outlook inboxes. I have not done any VB coding in a long time so I am struggling with it a bit...can anybody point me in the right direction, and perhaps provide some code samples?

Many thanks!

A quick search on this forum for 'Outlook Inbox' turned up quite a few threads including thread222-781372 which may help you get started.

Hope this helps

Harley,

Thanks for the link, but I have already got this far with the app. What I am trying to find out is how I can actually get at DIFFERENT users inboxes (not the default), so I'm looking for some code examples where the logon is set and what syntax to use in this situation.

Could you provide a little more information e.g. how the inboxes are stored? Exchange? What you need to retrieve from the users inboxes?

Cheers

Hi,

The inboxes are stored on Exchange 5.5. What I need to do is to have an app with for example a dropdownlist where the user can select a login, and then view their unread emails in their inbox (possibly writing their inbox to a table where there is a delete option for each row for deleting some of the emails).
