We have a clipper program running on both windows95 and windows nt. The following doesn't happen on windows nt. It only happens to 1 table (out of 14) on windows 95. What happens is that during the course of a days data entry about 1/2 percent of the records written to a table are duplicates. So not all saved records duplicate, only a few do. I cannot come up with any reason why? All records use the same function to save to all tables. So why just this 1 table and why just a few records? The windows 95 machines are peer to peer networked, and this happens at 8 different sites. I have disabled several file system troubleshooting itmes from control panel, system, performance but this didn't stop it. Any suggestions?

Hi WaterStart,

Please check "Redirector Caching" in Microsoft web site, and make sure your Win95 "vredir.vxd" is the lastest version.

Thanks yewmun.

That looks like the problems to me. Don't know if I will get to try the solution in a production environment though. Since we would have to touch all the machines, they are located throughout the state, and since we are running without this problem on the machines with nt (rather than windows 95), we hope to upgrade all machines to nt if we have funding in September.
