GetFileOpenName with ImportFile

Hi,
I would like to use GetFileOpenName to allow the user to open and import an Excel file into a datastore. However , I can't seem to use GetFileOpenName with ImportFile because the ImportFile returns an error code because the file isn't of type tab-separated text, comma-separated text, XML, or dBase format 2 or 3. Is there a workaround for this ?

How do you find the sqlsyntax of a nested datawindow in debug mode ? The sqlsyntax in the sqlpreview event shows only the sql for the main datawindow ?
