GetAsyncKeyState problems (??)

Hello....
I have a code which moves a robot through the keyboard arrays...I use the GetAsyncKeyState function to communicate with the robot and move it around...The thing is that the code works fine with windows 2000 but it crushes when using different type of windows...i assume that the problem is this functon,but i am not sure and don't know which other to use...Any suggestions??

Hello, I can tell you that I use the above function in WindowsME and Windows98 in my software and it works fine...no crash
