I have two computers. One is hardwired into the router and the other is using a usb wireless adapter.

I'm having a hard time getting the two to be on the same network. Can anyone direct me as to where I might find information on how to connect the two.

Thanks so much!

Oops I had thought I posted this in the Windows XP forum. My bad. They're both running WinXP.

A couple hints here,
First make sure that neither computer is set to be the DMZ computer on the router (Had this one myself). Make sure both have the same workgroup name, if not they will not see each other. Third, make sure your windoze firewall is set to either off, or on with exceptions and that file sharing and printer sharing is in the exceptions. The firewall in Win XP is kinda junky, so sometimes, you have to disable it, reboot, turn it back on, put in the exceptions and reboot again.

Also if you have a good firewall on your router, no need to make things more difficult by using Windoze firewall.

Hope this helps.
