Get rid of Win98 login screen

Hi,
I know there is a way to delete the windows 98 login screen so you dont have to either enter a p/wd or hit cancel when presented with it... I seem to remember something like deleting the win.ini file.. is this right.. what is the correct name and where do I find it ?

Go to control panel/network - change the client to 'Windows Family Logon'
