Anyone know how to get the User ID of the person who created a file in Novell? I know I can right-click on the file and go to "NetWare Info" and it's listed under "Owner:" but I would like to be able to use this attribute in VBA to send an email to the user. Thanks!

Yes, well "owner" may not be an attribute you need so much as trusteee. If this is what you want then go to novell.com and download the relevant SDK - look for the volume management controls and you are away laughing. If you have no prior experience with NDS/eDirectory programming this may take a significant learning curve so let me know how you get on as novell.com sample code can do this.
