get image size????

Hello everyone.

I tried to use "

" Image ASP component. Im runnin XP pro but the .dll cannot get registered and as i saw needs some other required DLLs (MFC70.DLL MSVCR70.DLL) but there is no reference of where to get them.

I also tried Javascript but you have to do the resize after you have created the image on screen given its ID to the javascript by using GetElementByID e.t.c

All i want is a way to get the size of my im age on a variable to further process it, i dont mind if its a DLL or not.

I just need to do it any ideas where to look at???

By the way i need to be able to do this for both JPG and gif but also GIFF and JPEG...

I dont know if this increases the complexity of my initial question but even just one format will give me some partial solution.
