I am pulling data from a web page using Excel 2000 and the Web query feature (Basicaly puts the contents of a HTML table in an Excel Workbook).

I would like to put this information into SQL Server on a scheduled basis. Whats the best way to do this. Can you do Web Queries straight from SQL Server?

Thanks

I use DTS (Data Transformation Services) in sql server to take data from a delimited file and store it in a table.
It should work for an excel file too.

Once you get your DTS package working you can schedule it on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

I can get the data from the spreadsheet into SQL Server. My problem is that before the DTS runs, I need to refresh the web query in the spreadsheet and then save it. How can I do this automatically?
