get data from database views in impromptu 1

Is there a way to see and get data from database views in impromptu?

Yes there is! Views are like tables. For Impromptu we see now differences. So look for your views in the table viewer!

I'm not sure I get what you meant. When I go to Catalog --> Tables, I only see list of tables and no views.

Hi Lia,

Do you have read permisions on the views? You can only see the views if you have the rights to use them. Can you use the views through a query analizer?

Check the instruction in Thread401-543117. It details how to get views to appear in the 'Add Tables' dialog.
