Hi All,

I am installing a Generic - IP based Onebox voice mail system.

I have installed the onebox server (onebox 7.90. 256) with all the settings.

Now I am doing the set up in the MX-1 SP7 system. I have initiated these commands :
[tt]
<ICFUI:IFCIND=0,USER=GENERIC,UPDFCN=YES;
EXECUTED

<ICMWP:SID=1;
INFORMATION COMPUTER MESSAGE WAITING DATA
SID DTXT KFCN DIG
1 5555 MWC 5555
END

<GHGMI:GRP=5555,TRAF=15,SEL=110000,SERV=10000,QUE=5;
EXECUTED
<GEDII:DIR=5761&&5770,LIM=1,CSP=4;
EXECUTED
<GHGMI:GRP=5555,DIR=5761&&5770;
EXECUTED
<VMGEI:IFCIND=0,GRP=5555;
EXECUTED [/tt]
now, in the onebox, line status, i am getting "out of service" msg against all the 10 ports! And also, the group DIR 5555 is not dialing from the keys in the digital phone.
Help me please...

I guess that you miss this command:

VMGEI:IFCIND=0,DIR=5761&&5770;

and :

ICFUC:IFCIND=0,MWF=ALL;

Then it should work...

Also check the firmware of the IPLU, if you use that...

Remember to set the SID=01 in OneBox.

Thank you for buying OneBox and MD110!

and of-course, ICFUC:IFCIND=0,MWF=ALL; (i forgot to mention it)

the "voice message system ID"(SID) is 01 in the Integration tab of configuration menu

the IPLU firmware is

The message waiting indication is not coming on the digital phone - no display, no blink, no ring!

I am using DBC225 phone.

Try to record a longer message and post the SUSIP:DIR=5753;
The MWI settings seem OK.
Also post the software level of the OneBox.
If, AVST 7.71, you need 3 patches:

771Patch39600
771Patch39966

Dear Doktor,

This is Onebox 7.90 Build 256 Service pack 1

This is what I am getting after leaving a long msg on the mail box. and it is there in the mailbox, when i checked from 5753, by dialing 5555. but about the msg, no indication, no where.

OK, it is a 7.90.

I guess that you should upgradrade to 7.92 build 236.

Most important is to do this:

MEW does not work.
In the Configuration Module of the "MX-One messaging Voice Mail Version 7.90 Build 256 Service Pack 1" aka OneBox 4.2, you should change the MWI subscription period from 3600 to 240 seconds. Then it works alright.

This also goes for OneBox 4.2 (AVST 7.92 build 235).

Hi Dears,

Finally, I solved this problem!

There is one setting in the voice mail server:

Configuration >> Integrations >> Integration Options >> Required Parameter;
Here you should feed:
SIP Local Connection Port = 5090
and
SIP Parser qualifier string = SIP Proxy Server Address

Then It works fine!
