Generic system resource availability error 1

Hi everyone!!!

I got this error message in T-Server 6.5 Genesys log when Agents are trying to log in. Is this a problem with resources used by the Genesys components or resources used by Ericsson?

The problem is solved temporarily by restarting the T-Server.

Genesys Support's answer for the ticket is the following:

"we do not know why this error is generated. This is a switch issue and you need to contact your switch provided for the cause of the error. We just acknowledge the error from the switch.
It does look like a resource issue problem, but you will need to confirm this with your switch provider."

What do you think?

This messge can be retrieved due to several reasons. But in my experience, all the reasons for this error are because of misconfiguration or something wrong on an ODN.
In your case, you can localize the problem by trying to log in that ODN via Application link ncstatool..
If you get the same message in AL, then you can think that, that ODN can no longer be registered to pbx till you restart the application link service..

What's your application link version?
How is the AL(application link) connected to md bc9?
How many extensions are monitored?


 
Sorry, I have been on hollidays.

I will check that out cuneyt2020.

Link version is 4.0, but I don't know which Service Pack. I am not MD administrator, I am Genesys Administrator.

I don't know how AL is connected to bc9.

There are just 19 extensions monitored.

We have another problem now, Genesys gets the following error message:
"SUBSCRIBEDRESOURCE AVAILABILITY: OBJECT MONITOR LIMIT EXCEEDED"

and we think it has something to be with Application Link licences.

Both problems may have same solution, what do you think?

"object monitor limit exceeded" error is not a licence error

It's a system limitation error in Ericsson CSTA. It means that when an odn is registered in an APplication link-1, it can not be registered in Application link-2 Therefore you can get this message monitor limit exceeded message.

But sometimes,even there is only one application link configured in ericsson pbx, genesys loses the synchronization with application link, and when you try to re-register the odn by the help of genesys , Application link gives this message as "object monitor limit exceeded" as that odn is registered before. I mean some connections are hung on system. To fix it, you should restart the application link service.

We use one App. link only so we are going to restart App. link service, probably tomorrow, and we will check that error.

I will tell you if it works.
 
Hi,
Don't forget that after stopping Application Link service, the pbx engineer should check the CTI link by "cstlp" command and should see "0"active connections. Even application link is stopped but if there are some active connections seen on PBX,then pbx engineer should restart the program unit "DCTAP" on the related lims.

Not working.

It seems everything happened at the same time.

We had connections hung in the App. link. We reset the PBX and we still have the same problem.

We are checking a licence problem. We have the same number of licences than ODNs. We still don't know if we need licences for de ADN and for the Queues/Groups.
 
Well,did you ask the SP version of Application Link?Also what did pbx eng. do in Md110 side?What does he mean by resetting PBX? did he reset the Program unit DCTAP for all lims when the applink service is stopped? Did he try to log in via NCSTAtool(Application link client)while Tserver is off?

As far as i know you need licence for ODNs&cas extensions and ACD groups/routingpoints(CTI groups)

I'm sure that you don't need licence for ADNs
 
BTW, Object monitor limit exceeded is an error for a specifed object..
The licence error is Error 1176: "overall monitor limit exceeded"

On TServer logs did you get the error for all extensions or specific ones? If you get this for a specific ones ,you can discard the licence issue by disabling and unregistering some ODNs on Genesys CME
 
Thank you for your help cuneyt2020, I know it must be difficult for you to understand the things I am saying, first because I do know nothing about Ericcsion MD110 and because I am spanish and I have to use English here.

Reseting PBX? I don't really know, he told me that stopped PBX and restarted it again.

About which SP we have, i can't tell you. I've have asked him but he doesn't give me the information.

The eng came to restart PBX, that's what some one told him to do that and he doesn't know why.

On Tserver logs I get the error just for some extensions, always the same extensions...... I will try to disable and unregistering some ODNs.

Ok then, you can tell him to change the number for that ODNs on PBX side and of course on Tserver side.(remove the ODN and create it with different number) This will fix your problem temporary for that ODNS
