I'm wondering if it is possible to design a generic query. So I have one query that can be used on several tables with the same properties but with different names. The query has to ask for the tablename on which it has to be performed.

Best Regards,
Hans

The first question I would ask is why you have "several tables with the same properties"? This is usually considered bad design. Why not have one table with a field that groups the data by region, department, whatever... Terry

I know it is a bad design. It is my job to redesign this bad design.

Greatings,
Hans
