Generating report to Excel Sheet from Report Builder

I am using Report6i, need to generate the report to a Excel Sheet instead of previewing it on the screen. Plz quote an example with ur reply. I have successfully used it using forms but now wanna use through reports6i. Thank u in advance.

Simply set Parameter of report to FILE and named <filename>.HTML.,report will save in excell sheet instead of screen.

hi adeel,
adeel u can convert tabular form values into excel sheet by using UTL_FILE package.but by using this package u will use the cursor to put values into excel sheet.

I'm using reports 2.5, Is it possible to preview the report into excel sheet?. or any other workaround is there plz. any one help me?
