Hello,

Does anyone have reccomendations for call accounting setups for the G3?

Thanks!

-Mike

MicroCall is a very nice and somewhat inexpensive call accounting system. It will interface your system using a data module. I have been using their system for sometime now, and their technical support people are the best.

Thanks for responding Mikey! How much configuration did it require on the Definity? What kind of price range are we looking at?

The configuration was pretty easy. I have it hooked up to a data module right now. They can even help on the Avaya side if they need to. I am about to go to the S8710's so my data mod's are going away. I called them the other day to see if they could do an IP connect, and their technical support can even guide me through connecting their unit to the C-LAN board ports.

As for the price, I really dont remember. We looked into all the major players and they had the most bang for the buck as far as we could see. If you decide to go with them, you will not beleive the support you will get. For the first time in years, I dont mind calling someone's tech support.

Thanks Mikey! As usual, you are a big help.

Glad I could help out another Mike... I'm sure you have never been called Mikey either.. LOL.

I use eCAS. I really like it, it is web based. I schedule reports and managers are emailed them in html format. Real nice product. I have one ecas box that connects to many sights all via IP. The clan in each switch is configured to send the cdr information to the ecas.

I think this is the one that our Avaya BP wants to sell me. I guess I'll have to compare

I have only good things to say about Ecas. The only issue I had with them was that they wanted like $2500 per year for maintenance. The first year was included, but I didn't buy the second.
