General SSL Relay Question?

I think I might be mistaken on what the SSL relay does. I was under the assumption that if I set up SSL Relay with NFuse that all session information between the Remote client to the Nfuse server would be over port 443 instead of 1494.

When I connect to my Citrix server with Nfuse (With SSL Relay setup) and I click on my published application I am still seeing the remote client sending traffic over Port 1494?

When I connect using the Full ICA client and the network protocl SSL/TLS + HTTPS I only see traffic over 443. I thought the NFuse portion would work the same.

Am I totally wrong here? Can somebody please clarify this for me?

Thanks for any info,

Eric

Eric,
Make sure that the ica file that the client recieves has the following 2 sections on it.

SSLEnable=On
SSLProxyHost=servername.domain.com:443

where the servername.domain.com is the citrix server.

Thanks for the info.

What section of the template.ica would I add this in?

Thanks again,

Eric

It depends what version of Nfuse you are using...

7.1 does not need it added, its there when Nfuse is installed...6.1 does
