I am the administrator of a network that includes a LAN with 40 users aswell as five other remote LANs that connect via IP to the central one. We have in this LAN an Exchange Server and a corporate gateway to the Internet. I am planing to build an efective, low maintaining solution to centralice from the main LAN te visits to Internet. Also to keep away hackers need a firewall as well as a proxy to control the access to the Web. I am thinking on a Trend Micro NeaTSuite and 3Com Firewall.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Thanks.

I suggest you use a firewall for both security and an internet usage limiter. For an example, you set an IP range that can use the internet leaving any other IP range blocked from using internet resources. I used this setup before and I am pleased with the results. I think you should check out a Zywall firewall, . Good luck. --Sapient2003 - sapient@sapient2003.com
