Where would you go to learn about how to design and structure Cold Fusion applications to make them more efficient/logical, etc.

I've basically taught myself Cold Fusion through books. They all show the same method as to how to build an application, but that method seems do differ greatly from the way it's done in the real world.

Thanks for the suggestions

Once you are comfortable with ColdFusion you could look into one of the frameworks:

FuseBox
Mach-II
theHUB

Mach-II is not really a beginner framework unless you know OOP.
FuseBox 4.x is kinda a lot to deal with for beginners.
FuseBox 2 is not bad for beginners.
theHUB seems decent for beginners.

I have found this book to be helpful:

Inside ColdFusion MX
Cummings Ross Sen
New Riders

And I have heard this is a good book (I have it on order):
Dynamic Publishing with ColdFusion MX
Elmore Benjamin

You can pick these both up used on Amazon or half.com very cheaply.
