When I try to open a fairly large excel spreadsheet, I get a general protection fault in module SSGW6.DRV at 0002:0000228f. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?
Thanks,
jnix

How much memory in your PC? How much free hard drive space do you have? When was the last time you defrag'sd your drive? What application uses the ssgw6.drv driver file? Try going to msconfig/startup and prevent loading od the driver and then see if you ageve the problem. HAve you checkesd the excel file for problems, or is it all excel files that are large? You may need a newer version of the driver, a patch for excel or both. What version of excel are you running?
