Could anybody explain me what "general protection fault at module vs16.dll" is? Like I have this problem with two re-installed softwares in my computer. Please give me steps to get rid of this problem

This is a software conflic within windows and the program you are using. Are you trying to use a scanner? What OS version is it? Is your sound card a soundblaster 16?

sounds like you're using old Umax drivers. Uninstall them and get the latest ones for your scanner.
