General Information required about meridian 11C

I want to know that what is the difference between Basic configuration & Pre-configured configuration And which one is best to choose during Meridian 11C installation.When we inter ISM Parameters On the prompt when it asks for selecting pacakages what to do Y/N/Abort.

You need to get a vendor to help you with your install.

The pre configured database has trunk routes and stations already programed along with customer data block and configuratin. I would not recommend it as it may interfer with you own dialing plan. Basic has only basic configuration (LD 17) in it. That allows you to do you own programing as needed.

Look at your key code sheet. The ISM parameters and any additional packages will be listed there. Also listed is the other information you are asking about. Something like 6 choices after your New Install choice. Once this is all entered it will ask if this is correct. Then enter the key codes appropriately. Good Luck.
