I have a general scenario that I need to setup, but I just wanted to get pointed in the correct direction before I put more time into it.

I have two sites that need to be connected. There was a T1 run between the two sites for this purpose. I have two cisco routers (1602 w/T1 card & 1720 w/T1 card) that will be doing the work.

SiteA has a connection to the internet and a Windows domain. SiteB will need to access the internet through SiteA's connection, and will need to be able to have access to SiteA's LAN. SiteA will also need access to SiteB's LAN. Basically, the only reason for the cisco routers is facilitate the T1 line, it's not going to be doing routing or anything.

I believe the router setup should be pretty easy, but I'm not sure where to start. How would I set the routers to pass through everything.

wow, i never knew that was so simples. secret passwords it is!

does anyone know how to override a connected static route. For example, my routing table looks like this:

Gateway of last resort is 192.168.1.99 to network 0.0.0.0

S 192.168.20.0/24 [1/0] via 10.1.1.2
10.0.0.0/8 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
C 10.1.1.2/32 is directly connected, Serial1
C 10.1.1.0/30 is directly connected, Serial1
192.168.1.0/24 is variably subnetted, 3 subnets, 2 masks
S 192.168.1.11/32 [1/0] via 192.168.1.99
S 192.168.1.15/32 [1/0] via 192.168.1.99
C 192.168.1.0/24 is directly connected, Ethernet0
S* 0.0.0.0/0 [1/0] via 192.168.1.99

I want to replace the:
C 192.168.1.0/24 is directly connected, Ethernet0

With:
192.168.1.0/24 [1,0] via 192.168.1.99

No, you cannot. A directly connected network has an administrative distance of 0, and you can't go lower.
Static routes can be manipulated into floating static routes by adding your own ad at the end, but not directly connected networks.

ya if you really want to send that subnet to that host then youll need to use a different subnet between that server and the router..

then route via that link...
