I can not get the ddi settings to work on the gdk16. 4ch bri im in main 4 sub 10 done the day btn 2 and night btn 4 dest ie ext 103 and the last 6 digits sent by bt btn 6. tei fff. Help would be greatly appreciated.regards stewart jackson
Go to Menu 4-10.
In this menu there are 6 parameters can be set for any of the 24 MSN / DDI numbers if you are using ISDN (or analog PSTN lines )that the PBX can handle.
The 6 parameters are "1" = CO line number (1-6), "2"=DAY extension number, 3 = N/A, 4 = NIGHT extension number,, 5 = N/A, 6 = The real DDI number to the local machine (all digits received fro nth public exchange - try with all, not nonly the last 6 digits) , only ISDN.
Parameters 3 and 5 are not used.
You are going to use parameter 1, 2 and 4.
With your fixed TEI of FFFF, it should work if the DDI number serie come in on all the 4 ISDN2 lines (BRI).
Have you done flex key 3 for lines, then put in your co range, then flex key 2 for isdn attributes, then flex 4, then flex key 1 to toggle to ddi use yes and then press hold/save
Also check that :
Main Menu 03 (with CO line 1-8)-> SUB-MENU (Flex button) 02 "ISDN Line Attribute" -> Terminal Menu 04 "DID Line Use".
DID Line use should be set to YES!
Still struggling with this mm3 sub2 tm04 tog yes sets to direct inward dial not ddi, call comes in and drops out imeadiately with this at yes regards sj
To program the DDI/MSN (DID)
Would Set lines for DID Use Main Menu 3, Sub Menu 2, Key 4
Then set up routing for the DIDs in Main Menu 4, Sub Menu 10.
Also worth checking a few options on the station side.
Main Menu 2, Station range, Sub Menu 1, Key 13, DID Ring = Yes
Main Menu 2, Station Range, Sub Menu 2, Key 3, MSN = No
Check that stations have CO Line buttons or a LOOP key programmed
