We are running Intuity 5.1 Audix System. We have 13 locations using this system. At one location, we periodically receive garbled voicemail messages. The messages are incoming calls from various mediums (cell phones, landlines, etc.),but always coming in from outside, never happens with inside voicemails. They sound like an answering machines going bad. The message is garbled or starts out fast then slows or over records previous words in the same message. We have repunched connections, moved lines to different ports, replaced phones and still can't seem to correct the problem. The other locations on the same system work perfectly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If the locations are connected with voip check the codec being used between the bad location and the voicemail system.

also, try listening to those same messages from another location. see if the problem stays the same or not.

Thank you for your replies.

Checked out Codec and it is perfect.

The staff member forwarded the message to my phone and it sounds the same. Hummm? Listening to the message from another location? When dialing into Audix from anywhere in our system, everyone dials into the same location no matter where you are. So it doesn't matter where you dial in from, you are still hitting the one Audix System.
