Hey folks, I have a user who is getting garbled text in the top right hand corner where it is supposed to display the word "Page" followed by the page number when trying to print to pdf from IE8. The word "page" is garbled (ÆäÀÌÁö 1 / 2 <----- copy/pasted from the document) but the page numbers are fine and so is all the other text in the document. I've looked around the web for this issue quite a bit and found several references to the "rely on system fonts only" option being enabled but after disabling this feature we're still getting the same issue. Any help with this would be VERY much appreciated.

Do you mean your user is viewing a PDF online, using IE8 ?
What version of Acrobat Reader is installed ? Have you tried accessing and printing the same PDF using FireFox instead of IE8 ? results ?

My user is viewing a web page in IE8 and printing the page to the "Adobe pdf printer" which basically just converts the printout to a .pdf file.

Try the same procedure in FireFox or Chrome. In my experience over the years, printing from IE has always cropped or truncated documents that looked fine on screen. Using Netscape (in the last century) or FireFox (this century) has avoided the problem. Let us know if this helps!
