Garble on display 3

I have a 7208 set that works just fine except the display presents random asci characterts.

Is the set toast?

Sounds like the phone is going bad to me. Swap phone with another location for testing purposes.

Usually the first thing to go on these phones is the display or the speakerphone - I would change the phone out

Sounds like just the display has gone bad. They are replaceable if it's one with a ribbon cable. The newer displays that are attached directly to the flex circuit board are hard to find if it's this type. Brian Cox
