Hi

Hope someone will be able to assist me.

I installed a IPLDK60 with a GDC-600B Basestation. I have registered two Siemens Gigaset E495 phones. The registration process went fine.

I am experiencing the following problem:

Most of the time there is no dialtone on the cordless phone. At time I can phone to other extensions, the dialled extension will ring, but there will be no communication between the two. Certain times it works fine.

Any advice?

Thanks

We have normally good experience with Siemens DECT handset.
I guees that you have an environment problem.
But check this thread:

Hi doctor

Thanks, your post is really helpful.

I am still having the same problem however. What software would you recommend on the Motherboard? Could this be a software issue?

I guees that you have an environment problem.
This could be radio interference - from other radio systems.
Can you check for this? Site survey?

Good cabling between the radiobase stations and the ipLDK is important.
Also grounding of the ipLDK-60.

We had earlier issue with DECT on GDK systems. Here it VERY important to initialize the database before the installation (PGM450).
But do not initialize a running system - it will delete the database.

HI Doktor

Checked all that. My version of LDK is GS88P-3.69Da DEC12.

WTIB Version: 1.0Ah
Base Version: 1.0CB

You think that could have anything do do with the issue?\?

I had these issues with ipLDK.
The fastest way to exclude the database as being the fault is to wipe the database.
Of course this way takes some time.
I would write down all settings station number, DECT numbers, CO numbers. Make screen dumps etc.
The reset the databse to default and re-program PGM100 and country code.
Hereafter it is VERY important to initialize the database before the installation (PGM450).
(But do not initialize a running system - it will delete the database. )
Then enter the database muanally again.
The old back-up CANNOT be used, since you may not have initialized - by PGM450.

If you did initialize by PGM450 from the start - then you should not do this.

Also check the cabling, and grounding of the ipLDK and the radio environment.

I guess the s/w and h/w is OK.
